About MILLS

We’re beautifying the world, one bathroom renovation at a time.

Our Story

MILLS was born from founder Lindsay Meyer's journey as a former home stager and interior designer. Her desire to help more homeowners access beautiful, buildable bathroom designs reduces weeks of decisions, budgeting, ordering, and chaos. Her insight was simple: what if designing a bathroom (a process known to require as many as 250 decisions) was more like buying a car?

It would be: browse, select upgrades, review, bring home.

HOW WE BELIEVE THE WORLD SHOULD BE DIFFERENT

Traditionally, homeowners who didn’t hire interior designers either handled design on their own or relied on their contractor to guide the process. In most cases, this was time consuming and led to excess cost for the homeowner, or their contractor quietly resented and was bad at leading design. The result is suboptimal at best, ugly and expensive at worst.

MILLS believes that there’s an opportunity for the homeowner to select a design and hand it to the contractor. The contractor builds the bathroom. The result is beautiful and efficient.

    She’s worked with clients across the Bay Area and beyond—and is now focused on turning that experience into smart, accessible renovation tools anyone can use.
